It’s not a difficult thing to have a book collection though you only have small house. We can use a trick to make the house not fulfilled by the books. Collecting book is a positive hobby. It is very ironic to have this hobby undone just only by having no place to keep it. As time goes by, the book that is collected will always keep increasing. And those books, however, must be stored effectively, if you don’t want them to be a mess.

In a small house, looking for a specific place it’s a bit difficult. It will be more difficult if we want to build it! Don’t event thing about saving the book in a cupboard. There are no spaces anymore. So how do we handle it? To make it easier, just find some corners in your house. Ensure that they aren’t used to place any other properties. This place can be modified to be a place to keep your book collections. You can also apply some other ways to have those books keep tidily without overloading your house.

Make it to be accessories

Many people try to hide their bookshelf, even in a warehouse. Whereas, this book can be a nice accessories hang on your wall replacing your painting and pictures. The bookshelf can also be a partition between rooms. In a small house, usually the rooms are divided by a partition so just use the bookshelf as a partition between rooms. Be smarter to find some spaces; bellow the stairs, unused garage, the top wall, or one of the corners of a living room. They are some spaces which can be used to place the bookshelf.

Mezzanine is also a way to get more free spaces without changing the structure of your house. It can be made by utilizing the attic. You can use this free space to put the bookshelf paralleled. It will look nice to combine it with some other wood furniture. Then, if there is any space more, you can use it for workroom or reading room.

You can also use a hanging shelf. What is meant by hanging shelf is a shelf that hanging on the wall, it doesn’t have legs. This kind of shelf look light, not overloaded, roomy and can be added by a couch or sofa bellow.
